Every person’s financial journey is unique and their fiscal decisions are highly contextual.

How to get acquainted with your financial self? What are the questions you should be asking to form an honest relationship with money?

Here are some questions and examples that I hope, will get you to introspect about your behaviour and reflect on it -

1. What would you spend the most on if you had all the money in the world? Why?

Example - I would spend most on traveling all around the world. Because I’ve grown up living in just one city and haven’t seen much. I would love to travel OR I would spend money on saving all the doggos! Because I think they need to be protected and taken care of. OR I want to work towards spending all my energy on solving for economic inequality, because I have seen how the world behaves toward the rich and the poor and it’s very unfair. OR I want to spend all my time and money painting and doing yoga because it brings me joy to create something new and yoga brings me peace.

Whatever it is, however silly or serious you think it is. Put it here! This is for you to record and understand.

Example - I will travel to a nearby hill station and marvel at its beauty. I will do this! I WILL make time for myself because I LOVE traveling!

OR

I will find an organization that helps indie dogs and see how I can help.

OR

I’m going to get a bunch of different books on economics and read them all!

OR

I will paint every day for ten minutes and do yoga for five minutes, and then I will go from there.
